Happy Birthday Mama Mary!

Catholics around the world celebrate the birth of Mother Mary today, September 8. CDSA students offered flowers yesterday in honor of her birth. Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ. She is also the daughter of Taguig's patroness, St. Anne. September 8 is nine months after the feast of the Immaculate Conception, which is celebrated every December 8.

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ."

Field Demonstration - Tribute to St. Anne

CDSA students pay tribute to the school's patroness, St. Anne. Various dances through the decades were presented to the delight of the audience. Viva Sta. Ana!


Before the presentation, Grades 3 to 4th Year students paraded in the streets of Sta. Ana, Taguig, with the CDSA Drum and Lyre leading the line.

†Msgr. Lucio B. Odiver (March 2, 1935 - April 2, 2012) *

Msgr. Lucio B. Odiver was CDSA's School Director from 1993-2002. He has brought many changes and improvements to CDSA (then Sta. Ana Parochial School). He passed away today, April 2, at the age of 77. *

Eternal rest grant unto Msgr. Odiver, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.




Highlights during Msgr. Odiver's term: **

Rev. Fr. Lucio B. Odiver was appointed the Sta. Ana Parochial School director on January 3, 1993. After over a month, he immediately ordered the construction of the three-storey classroom for the Kinder level which was blessed on June 6, 1993 by Rev. Fr. Odiver himself.

His Eminence Jaime Cardinal Sin graced the institution once again with the blessing of the newly constructed offices and facilities which included the Principal’s Office, the Faculty room, the Medical/Dental clinic, the two (2) comfort rooms both for the faculty and the students, and the boys’ quarters on July 14, 1997 in loving dedication to its late founder, †Msgr. Augurio I. Juta.

School year 1999-2000; the name Sta. Ana Parochial School was changed to Colegio de Sta. Ana. This year also commenced the creation of the new building adjacent to the St. Anne building, and the realization of the Audiovisual Room in the 4th floor. Mile by mile, the inspiration and spirit of the director, Msgr. Odiver and the Principal, Mrs. Delute traveled with the initial vision. The full creation of the 4th floor for the incoming 4th year students marked some of the achievements of Msgr. Lucio B. Odiver before he resigned in 2002.
