Feast of the Sto. Niño

Every third Sunday of January, the Philippines celebrates the Feast of the Santo Niño, which has its origins centuries ago during the time of the Spaniards' colonization. Now, it is one of the most grand and colorful celebrated festivals in the country.

The Holy See recognizes this special (and unique) feast in the Philippines that a special liturgical text is used exclusively during the local feast of the Sto. Niño.*

Viva Sto. Niño! Pit Señor!
